Connor + Curtis—both growing up in different parts of the country, ultimately found their way to Dallas, where their love story began.

Connor and Curtis came to know each other through social media in 2022. After exchanging texts for months, they decided it was finally time to get to know each other in person. They met out at a local bar downtown. Curtis’ best friend, Bethany, was in town visiting from Kentucky that weekend. So, Connor was not only meeting the love of his life for the first time that night, but also someone very important in Curtis’ life as well. Which for most this would seem stressful, but in true Connor fashion he kept his cool and made a lasting impression on both of them!

Connor and Curtis spent hours that night talking by the fire getting to know each other. That same weekend Connor invited Curtis, over for a 4th of July cookout, where they spent more time talking by a fire. They had a lot of laughs and made many unforgettable memories. Reflecting on those first few days spent together they both knew they had found their person! From then on, they became inseperable.

Fast forward to later that year, on September 4th, they made it official! They spent the following months hanging with their fur baby, Falcon and have since then added Piper into the mix. Spending time with their horses, traveling the world together, and simply loving the life they were creating with one another. They realized they were the love + balance that each of them wanted to keep forever.

On May 7th, 2023 in Cabo, surrounded by Connor’s close-knit family, Curtis proposed. After the very well thought out, and some may even say, elaborate proposal—Connor very happily said, “YES!”

We could not be happier to be joining our hearts as one with our close friends and family in our favorite place!
